Who are you and why are doing this?

I'm just a poor, starving college student trying to pick up some extra cash. Okay, well I'm not starving, but college tuition sure takes it out of ya. It all started when I wanted to start a recipe blog. I was looking around for the perfect template. You know....one of those free templates you can download that 100 other people have as well. Nothing seemed to fit with what I imagined in my head. I found a designer that offered to design my template but was asking for a lot. I understand it takes a lot of work, but I think it should still be a little more affordable. That's when I took matters into my own hands! I basically taught myself how to design templates. To keep me from giving my blog a makeover every week, I decided I wanted to make affordable custom templates for other people! I think everyone should have a personalized blog that reflects them. Because I love everything Cinderella, calling myself the Fairy Blogmother only seemed appropriate.

Will you provide the images?

I would be happy to help you find ideas. There are many websites that offer images for purchase like virtual scrapbooking stores or IStockphoto. Please keep in mind that those expenses are yours though. I can also provide you with websites that offer free images as well. I can always incorporate your own photos into the design as well.

Will you draw an image for me?

I'm afraid I'm not an artist, and it might take me a year to try. If I were, I would gladly do it!

I thought you drew that image for your recipe blog?

That took me FOREVER, and I kept wondering what I had gotten myself into, but I had already started and put so much time into it. I couldn't abandon it! From that moment on, I decided I would never try to draw anything again! I'll leave it to the real artists. :o)

Where do you get all of those cute fonts?

You can get fonts from ubanfonts or dafont. These are the ones I refer to. You can pretty much do a search engine for "free fonts" and it will provide you with several websites. You are welcome to browse these and decide which ones you would like in your design.

How much do you charge?

The question I would then ask you is "What can you afford?" I don't believe in having a set price because everybody's needs are different and affordable is different for everyone. The reason I started this blog was because I wanted to provide affordable custom designs for everyone. Besides, whatever happened to good old fashioned negotiating? How much you can pay me will not dictate the quality of my work. My designs still reflect on me, and I only want to provide the best.

When do I pay you?

You can pay after the design is complete to insure you are content with it. After you pay, the template with all of the images will be e-mailed to you.

How do I pay you?

I think paypal is the most secure way for you and me. Through paypal I can accept debit, credit, e-checks, or existing paypal balance. You can click on the button that says "Pay Now" on my sidebar and it will direct you to the payment site. All you have to do is enter the amount we agreed upon and fill in the rest of your information. I will never get access to your credit card or bank information. It should send you a receipt right after through e-mail. I don't accept personal checks.

Will you install my template for me?

If you don't mind giving me your passwords, I would be happy to install it for you.

Can you do any other types of templates besides blogger templates?

At the moment, I only know how to create blogger templates.

Will I lose all of my widgets?

Widgets are all of your sidebar stuff. If you backup your template, you can just copy and paste all of your widgets into your new template. I would be happy to do that for you if you provide me with your old template. In order to download your current template, you need to go to Layout, then edit HTML, and then click on Download Full Template and save it onto your desktop.

Will I lose any of my posts?

No. All of your posts will stay exactly the same.

How do I preview the completed design?

I will send you an e-mail with a site that only you can see with a password I provide you where you can preview the progress of your design.

Will you host the images for me?

I'm afraid I can't because I will lose space. I can help you set up a free image hosting account with Photobucket, ImageShack, etc. I personally use Photobucket and have never had a problem with it. If you already have your own image hosting account, that's okay too.

What do you need from me?

All you need to do is tell me exactly what kind of theme you are looking for. What are your favorite colors? What are you trying to say with your blog? Look around out there and get ideas. Send them to me and we can work on it.

Do have to put your button on my blog?

I would really appreciate it if you would, but if it messes up the look of your blog, you don't have to leave it on. All I ask is that you leave the credit at the bottom of your blog to acknowledge my work. Please don't claim the design as your own. I put a lot a work into making this for you.

Will you give other people a duplicated design of my template?

Absolutely not. Your template is your personalized template. I will not offer it to anybody else.

Will you link my blog to your page?

Only with your permission will I link your page to my blog. If you don't want me to, I will only display the design.
